Avancka Herat

An industry veteran of 24 years, Avancka joined Asia Securities Wealth Management (Pvt) Ltd as Chief Executive Officer, and now holds the Executive Director position at the firm. Prior to joining Asia Securities, he served as Executive Director and CEO at National Asset Management Ltd. (NAMAL). Previously, Avancka was the CIO of Sri Lanka’s largest life insurance fund, under DCSL group. Early in his career, he gained international experience at oil industry leader Caltex (in Singapore and Sri Lanka) and the investment house Jardine Fleming (in Hong Kong and Sri Lanka) in research and investment-related roles. Mr. Herat has a MSc from Brunel University (UK).
